Inland Lakes Educational Foundation is an autonomous, non-profit corporation founded in 1986 by a group of community and business leaders who recognized the need for a local organization dedicated to helping Inland Lakes' graduates.
The ILEF is governed by a volunteer board of trustees who
are responsible for establishing program policies and for raising, investing, and dispersing funds.
Foundation funding does not replace tax-supported programs; it enhances educational opportunities with scholarships and grants for college-bound graduates and CTP-bound (Career-Technical-Professional) graduates pursuing trades careers.
The Inland Lakes Educational Foundation was organized to seek contributions and provide a source of funding for educational programs, activities, and events for the enrichment and benefit of Inland Lakes students and graduates.
The ILEF awards scholarships for college-bound graduates and Career-Technical-Professional (CTP) grants for graduates pursuing trade careers. All Inland Lakes' alumni, present and past, are eligible to apply. To date the ILEF has awarded over 880 scholarships and grants in excess of 1.7 million dollars to Inland Lakes graduates!
